It was wonderful!(Except for having to get up at 4 am--not so much of a morning person here!
We had a nice day together learning how to help Roo and we took a few silly pictures...hopefully I can get those up for you soon.
We ate at the Cheesecake Factory and had a nice meal and didn't once have to worry if there was gluten in the food!!
We both got some really good information out of it.
We talked and shared ideas on what to try with Skipper.
We learned that there are many TS families that have repaired holes in their walls.
We learned that he needs things written down...verbal instructions get lost somewhere in his head.
We learned how to recognize his signs when he begins to "rumble" and how to intervene before the rage starts.
All in all it was a very good day and I loved being with Mr. Dad.
Thanks you to my small group buddies for all your prayers over the past few days. I do whole heartedly appreciate you standing in the gap for me and holding my up before the Lord!! And I promise not to cry this Sunday!!

Dallas, I am Mary Jo's sister-in-law and Ragan's sister. I don't know you, but, I follow your blog. I work in the mental health field with autistic children and children with Tourette's. I cannot express what a fantastic mother you are. You talked about Christian sisters standing in the Gap for you and you are standing in the Gap for your children. What an awesome example for others to follow. I hope you have a great week and you and your boys are always in my prayers.
Dallas, Even though you don't see it, the rest of us think you"mother of the year!"
We love you!
Oh, I am so glad it went well. I was praying for you guys. It's ok to cry, girl I was biting my lip trying not to cry when I was doing the talking. It's ok! That's what we are here for.
You are so strong and such a great example to all of us.
