Ha, ha, ha...I live just on the outskirts of NYC (in Long Island) and I believe it. My husband and I lived in Maine for a few years and we heard a story of a couple fighting and the woman bit a chunk out of the man's face and spit it on the ground. This story cracked us up, but nobody else thought it was funny. I think it's because we're from NY. Very pathetic state of affairs.
