My oldest is a First Class Boy Scout.
He's a month away from getting his Star.
Then it's Life and Eagle.
I cried like a baby this weekend when Scout and I were talking about it. He can have his Eagle by the time he is 13.
13?!?!?!?!?!!
Seriously? I'm sorry there is no way he's going to be an Eagle and 13.
He is still a 6 year old Tiger Cub. Right?!
So our next year or so will be filled with Merit Badges, Junior Leadership Training, 2013 National Jamboree, an Eagle project and an Eagle Board of Review.
Makes me wanna wrap him in his "BB" and just snuggle him forever.
However, God can't complete His works for Skipper if I snuggle him forever.
I will get out of the way and savor the trail to Eagle. And I'll shed a few more tears I am sure.
